Its with great pride that we announce that our very own past president of PSVM Dr. Ma. Teresa Abola has been voted as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Society of Vascular Medicine, a leading and prominent organization for vascular medicine in North America. This was held during the last Convention of SVM in Long Beach, California in June 2016. The meeting was well attended and the topics were dynamic and practical. There was a big contingent coming from the Philippines for which several case reports and studies were presented posters and a couple during the much awaited and unconventional “Cases Over Cocktails”.
