August was a busy month for PHC Department of Vascular Medicine, the department came up with a conci one day course to further the knowledge of vascular technologist/sonologist and vascular medicine doctors on ultrasound of the venous system. There was a morning course of different topics that covered venous reflux to pelvic vein congestion and in the afternoon was a hands on workshop on ultrasound followed by actual patient demo of radiofrequency ablation of the left great saphenous vein done by Dr. Alex Chan, vascular surgeon.
